So if you don't follow my Instagram (which you should!), you might be surprised to find out that I'm in Canada! I flew across the country and into Toronto to go to a marketing conference! So I took advantage of some real fall temperatures to wear this tweed skirt and one of my favorite basic cream shirts. Both of these items are older and already hanging in my closet, but the skirt still had the tags on it! I found a few similar items for both! I really want the Topshop skirt and the J. Crew Factory one, but it is a little to similar to this one to justify the buy.
I hate being cold and we are in downtown Toronto right next to Lake Ontario, so I packed a pair of tights. This pair is by Spanx, which I generally hate because they squeeze too much, but it's the best pair of nude tights that I've found. My mom actually called me after she saw them to go find the same pair. They are great, as long as you don't mind wriggling into them!
Then for a business event like this one, I fully believe that you can't go wrong with a nude shoe. This pair is the Caress from Nine West. (The website is down, but I will update with a working link as soon as it works!) I have owned two or three pairs of these over the years. They aren't too expensive and I wore the others out from too much wear. But since they aren't terribly expensive I've always gone back. Plus, they're pretty comfortable!
Time to do a little exploring around Toronto!
