Feeling the Florals!

ASTR top (Same cut, different print) (Similar here, here, here) || J. Crew Jeans ||

I think I need a pat on the back because I cleaned out my closet and packed all my sweaters away over the weekend! I've been putting that off for so long, but it was getting a little too warm and I was missing my summer clothes. Sunday I decided to tackle the project and I'm so glad that I checked it off my to-do list! I rediscovered this top that I absolutely love! I bought it last summer, but I still love all the colors and the pattern. It's a tad cropped (about as cropped as I'm willing to go) and looks awesome with higher-rise jeans. I also just added a pair of white denim shorts to my wardrobe and I think it would look great with those and some tan sandals, as well!

As much as I love heels, I've been in a super casual mood lately. That generally means that I'm reaching for flats and sandals every morning. This tan/pink colored pair works great as a neutral! They're Valentino look-a-likes, but at an under $100 price point. I love this pair and they come in so many colors that you can definitely find a pair to fit your style!

I know that most people turn in their dark jeans in the summer and pull out the light-wash, distressed pairs, but I love wearing my dark skinny jeans year round. I love wearing light, flowy tops and sandals to them. I think it's a great way to make a summer outfit look chic!

Love you lots,

Bodyweight Exercises!

With graduations and summer vacations coming up, we wanted to make sure that you're covered on your many trips. It's sometimes really hard to find a gym when you're traveling and even harder to find a spare hour to make yourself go! Believe me, I've been there and there's no judgement! Who wants to go to the gym when you have a new place to explore!?

However, I've got some travel plans coming up so I wanted to come up with a super quick and effective workout that I can do without having to find a gym. I've actually made a habit of using hotel gyms and I really like them because I'm usually all alone! Plus, the equipment is generally pretty new and clean since it doesn't get used that often. But I understand that sometimes the hotel gym is packed or really lacking in equipment, so I asked Matt what the five most effective weight-free and equipment-free exercises are. These are five movements that will help keep you working out on the go and you can do them in your hotel room!

If you make a point to do some kind of exercise every day while on vacation, I promise you'll come back feeling a lot better. I always come back from vacation feeling like I lost track, indulged in too many tasty treats and lost momentum. This time I am going to do my best to exercise more on the go and work this routine and some yoga into my travel plans!!

What are your summer plans?

PopSugar Product Review

Body Wash Infused Buffer || Gaiam Yoga Mat (IT'S ON SALE!) ||

May has been so crazy and on a very stressful day I arrived home with this box sitting on my porch. I planned to do a product review video for this box, so instead of setting it aside and saving it I opened the box and was greeted by a ton of products to help me relax! It really was the most perfect timing!

I've already used all of these products (Obviously! I had to review them) and I do have some favorites!! I loved the snack bar because I am always looking for a good healthy treat! The peanut butter flavor was so yummy. I realize that they are pretty expensive for a box, but I might splurge so I have some healthy snacks to throw in my bag this summer!

I also love the bracelets. I am not exaggerating when I say I've worn them everyday since I got them. They go great with my casual summer outfits and I love the little tassels! Plus, they seem like one of those super unique products that you picked up on a vacation!

Then I also really like the Breathe Deeply Spritz! I checked and there's a Sweet Dreams Darling version that I might also pick up. I love essential oils and I'd love to have a calming nighttime spray, too!

Let me know which product you like the most!

Love you lots,

Summer Weddings!

Look 1: Dress || Clutch || Wedges || Earrings || Nails (She Said Yes) || Lips (Cosmic) || Cuff || Rings ||
Look 2: Dress || Bag || Sandals || Earrings || Nails (Naked) || Lips (Energy Shot) || Cuff ||
Look 3: Dress || Clutch || Wedges || Earrings || Nails (Beauty School Dropout) ||
Lips (Peach Blossom) || Bracelet 1, 2, 3 ||
Look 4: Dress || Bag || Heels || Earrings || Bracelet || Nails (Coral Pink) ||
Lips (Lingerie Pink) || Rings ||

I have two weddings to attend this summer, so I'm already planning my outfits!! Plus, every time I turn around or open Facebook someone else is getting engaged, which means this is going to be an on-going thing. I don't think I'm alone in saying that I love attending weddings, but I never know what to wear. So I created four outfits that I love and think would be great for all the summer weddings and parties you have on your schedule.

My real problem is that I love wearing white in the summer. That leads to always being drawn to white sundresses and my closet can sometimes be a little devoid of color. I've heard that it is now socially acceptable to wear white to a wedding, but I think that really depends on the bride so I choose not to test it. Instead I take it as a challenge to find and wear some color and branch out a little. Plus, then I can mix in all the neutral accessories that I love and not be too washed out.

I am so excited to go to all of these weddings, but I think these looks would be great for graduations, too! There's so much going on the next couple of months and I can't wait to style an outfit for every occasion!

Sunnies and Polka Dots!

So what happens when you wash all of your jeans on the same day? You wake up to slightly damp pants and have to get creative. Good thing there's nothing better than a pair of white jeans on a warm summer day. I love these Joe's Jeans and I've worn them in a ton of posts before. However, I do want a pair that's tighter around my ankle for when I wear heels. I've got my eye on these Jamie Jeans from TopShop. Like I said this Joe's pair are great and so comfortable, but they definitely look better with sandals and flats than with a higher heel! Maybe I'm just too picky!

I've also always been a sucker for a great nautical outfit. While this outfit isn't screaming "let's go sailing" the navy and white with all the gold accessories definitely has those vibes. It's a classic combination that I turn to quite a bit in the warmer months. I found this top during the Anniversary Sale at Nordstrom last year, but there are some really cute alternatives that I linked. I like them so much that I might even add a few to my summer closet!

What are some of your go-to looks for the warmer weather? I was so excited to finally wear a tank top today and not end up freezing!

Yoga on a Monday!

I've been traveling and a little stressed recently so Matt decided it was time to work some yoga into our routine. This is by no means a replacement to a full yoga class, but five really great poses to use to recover after a workout or a long day! I very rarely do yoga or pilates, but I have so many friends that swear by it. I've been looking into a few classes and some videos so that I can actually start using my cute yoga mat! If you have any suggestions about starting a yoga routine, I'd love to hear them!

These are five poses that Matt recommended I try to help relieve tension from previous workouts (hello!! spin class) and general stress. I was surprised by how tight my muscles were and how much work they got from holding each of these poses. Try to hold each movement for at least a minute and flow smoothly between them. Then do the whole routine three times. It should take about fifteen minutes and is a perfect way to unwind right before bed!

Oversized Sweater and a Pom Pom Bag

DIY'ed Pom Pom Bag (similar here, here & here) ||
Charles David Shoes (old, try these!) || Kendra Scott Earrings ||

There's nothing I love more than throwing on an oversized sweater in the spring and adding in some fun accessories. Possibly my favorite spring outfit is a big sweater, a pair of shorts and some sandals. It's the perfect casual look! So while that is a staple weekend look for me, this time around I paired  my most cozy white sweater with jeans and heels because I had to go do work things.

These sunglasses are a few months old, but they are finally back on the J. Crew Factory website. I am so excited that I can share them with you all because they're great for summer and super affordable. I love the kind-of-cateye shape and that the gold arms give them a less heavy, delicate look.

Plus, if you haven't seen it yet, check out my DIY video about how to make this bag. I'm loving this trend so much right now and figured out how to make the same look for a lot less! Of course, if you don't want to get crafty you could just do some online shopping! I linked a few options that I really like!
