Back to school shopping was always my favorite time of year. I love fall fashion and being able to create new looks with all the new pieces that hit the racks is so much fun! Of course, I've graduated and don't really have a need to go back to school shopping, but that doesn't mean I haven't taken advantage of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale or that I haven't spent my evenings browsing through Pinterest and online "window" shopping for great fall pieces.
My favorite thing on this list is by far the denim. Joe's Jeans are usually my favorite! I have a few pairs and I've had to replace a few paris, too. The fit is always great and for someone whose height is all in her legs the length is perfect. I love a medium wash denim for this time of year. It keeps your outfit from getting too dark during the summer to fall transition, but also pairs well with everything. However, if Joe's aren't in your budget I beg you to check out Levi's 711 cut. I wear this pair of jeans almost every day and get so many compliments on them. When I explain that they're from Levi's people are shocked that they're not designer. I like them a little more than some designer jeans because there isn't as much lycra or stretch in them and they hold their shape beautifully!
If the #NSale is any indication moto jackets are going to be everywhere this fall and winter. I picked up a taupe colored one that I can't wait to get in the mail, but if you're just starting your collection go for a classic black. I got one for Christmas a few years ago and have worn it so much. You really can't beat black leather to edge up a look or just add a cool element. Plus, once it gets cold they're super warm!
